We were prepared for the worst here as the snow headed our way...such a rare thing to get snow here. Things went very well with no power outage this day. It is melting off fast, but icy conditions are predicted for tonight. It was funny to watch each house pet discover & deal with the new thing called "Snow"...Daniel the cat was the most baffled by it, but once he walked several feet shaking each of his four paws, like cats do so funny, he loved it so much he did not want to come back in the house for sometime>> Silly cat! I wanted so bad to get out in it & take some pics., but I have been down with flu for a few days now & did not want to push to feel any worse than I do....... so I watched from a window.
